Chandor lies at the heart of Goa and used to be the ancient capital. It's home to Goa's largest Goan-Portugese mansion - the Braganza House, a short bike ride away through lush green paddy fields and a treasure trove of antiques from the period.

Chandor lies inland, so there is no beach nearby. There is however a lovely river and kayaks available for exploring. We also have quality mountain bikes at the property which you are welcome to use. If you do fancy a trip to the sea, we can arrange a driver on your behalf. Colva and Benaulim beaches are closest - about 25 minutes by car.
