- We rebuild and redesign Ciaran’s every single season. That’s right - everything you see is dismantled and put back up again, after the monsoon.
- Our Bebinca (traditional Goan dessert) is lovingly made by the owner’s sister. Why? Taste it and you’ll soon see there’s none other quite like it.
- We make our cottages from coir, that’s material from the husk of the coconut. It’s great because coconut is a very sustainable wood and, as you’ll see, it’s in plentiful supply.
- We have a free library, stocked with 1000’s of brilliant books, exclusively for our guests.
- We have over 20 full-time staff, many who have been with us since day one.
- Each New Year, we have over 100 guests for dinner. And we’ll make sure our 10th birthday party is even bigger.
- We have free security lockers, big enough to take a laptop, and 24 hour security staff, for your reassurance.
- Every lightbulb at Ciaran’s is energy saving. And we offer free water refills too, to cut back on plastic waste.
- We have two friendly weimeraners in residence, Dave and Megan. So if you’re missing your dog, come and play with ours!
- We’re a Goan company, owned and managed by locals. So if there’s anything you’d like to know about Goa, we’re the people to ask!
